Performance opportunities are central to musical growth and school culture — from school productions and choirs to concerts, theatre visits and community partnerships.
Why it matters
Children remember the concert, not the worksheet
Ask an adult what they remember about music at school and they will tell you about a performance: the show they were in, the trip, the moment a hall full of people applauded. Performance is where musical learning becomes memory, and where a child who has been quiet all year is suddenly visible.
It is also where a school shows itself to its community. A well-run production does more for a school’s reputation than any newsletter — and it belongs to everyone in the building.

We actively seek opportunities for schools to represent themselves within their local communities through performance and the arts.
Inclusion
A part for every child, including the ones who don't want a solo
Ensemble numbers are written so that a nervous child in the back row still has something specific and satisfying to do. Backstage, technical and front-of-house roles are treated as genuine parts of the production, not consolation prizes.
